This Privacy Policy explains how Kei Taylor (“we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you visit keitaylor.com, buy one of our products, such as the Steady in Stilettos guide, or sign up for our emails or text messages.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, email address, mobile phone number and anything you send us, including replies to our text messages.
  • Purchase information. Our store runs on Shopify and payments are processed by Shopify Payments. We receive order details such as your name, email address, billing or shipping information when applicable and what you bought. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
  • Information collected automatically. Shopify, Klaviyo and other technologies used to operate our website may automatically collect information such as your browser, device type, IP address, pages you visit, interactions with our website and whether you open or click our emails or text-message links. This may involve cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
  • Shopping activity. Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep track of products you view or place in your shopping cart, including whether a cart is abandoned.

How we use your information

We may use your information:

  • To deliver products and services you purchase or request, including digital guides and the Steady in Stilettos 30-day text program
  • To process and maintain your orders
  • To send emails and text messages you have agreed to receive
  • To provide program reminders, accountability messages and customer support

Text messages (SMS/MMS)

When you sign up to receive text messages from Kei Taylor, we collect your mobile phone number and information related to your SMS subscription and consent.

We use this information to provide the text-message program you signed up for and to receive and process your replies.

Where double opt-in is used, entering your phone number alone does not complete your subscription. You must also complete the confirmation step provided during the signup process before your SMS subscription becomes active.

Depending on what you sign up for, text messages may include program instructions, accountability reminders, educational information, progress check-ins, customer-service messages, purchase-related communications, promotions, product announcements and other messages described when you provide consent.

For the Steady in Stilettos 30-day accountability program:

  • Message frequency varies. The program generally sends about one scheduled text message per day for 30 days, plus limited setup, pause, restart, check-in and completion messages.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless plan.
  • Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from text messages.
  • Reply HELP for help or email contact@keitaylor.com.
  • Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing our products. You may purchase the Steady in Stilettos guide without subscribing to marketing texts.
  • If you purchase a product that specifically includes text-message services, providing a valid mobile number and consenting to the messages necessary to deliver that service is required for us to provide the SMS portion of that product.
  • Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Abandoned cart text messages

If you have consented to receive applicable marketing text messages, our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep track of items you place in your shopping cart, including when a cart has been abandoned.

We may use that information to determine when to send a cart-reminder text message to eligible subscribers.

Receiving cart-reminder text messages is subject to the SMS consent and disclosure requirements applicable to that program.

Mobile information and SMS consent

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number, text-message opt-in data or SMS consent status with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS program with third parties for purposes unrelated to providing the services of that program.

We may share personal information, including your mobile number, SMS opt-in data or consent status, with service providers that help us operate and deliver our messaging services. These may include Klaviyo, telecommunications providers, wireless carriers, customer-service providers and other vendors involved in delivering or supporting text messages.

Those providers may use this information only as necessary to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Abandoned carts and cookies

Keitaylor.com uses cookies and similar technologies to help keep track of products you view or place into your shopping cart, including when a cart has been abandoned.

This information may be used to operate the website, maintain your shopping session, understand customer activity and, for subscribers who have provided the appropriate SMS consent, determine when to send a cart-reminder text message.

You can control certain cookies through your browser settings, although disabling cookies may affect some website functions.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information:

  • With service providers. This includes companies that help us operate our business, such as Shopify for our online store and payment processing and Klaviyo for email and text messaging. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.
  • For legal or safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of our customers, our business or others.

The sharing described above does not permit third parties to use your mobile number, SMS opt-in data or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Location information

We do not use precise location tracking or location-based services to send you text-message marketing.

Our website and service providers may process general technical information, such as an IP address, as part of normal website operation, analytics, security or fraud prevention. We do not use this information to continuously track your precise physical location.

Affiliate links

Some product links we share may be affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links.

If you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technologies to track the referral. We may receive a commission if you make a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to you.

The privacy practices of third-party retailers and affiliate networks are governed by their own privacy policies.

Your choices

Emails

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email.

Text messages

You may unsubscribe from text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Replying HOLD to a Steady in Stilettos accountability message, if that feature is available, pauses the accountability sequence but does not unsubscribe you from SMS. To unsubscribe from text messages, reply STOP.

Your information

To request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, email contact@keitaylor.com.

We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our products and services, maintain required business and consent records, comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, prevent fraud and resolve disputes.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law and our operational requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

However, no method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website, products and programs are intended for adults.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
